Hey, I’m Nathan - and I built the Matrix Habit Tracker because I was training for the Sydney Marathon and wanted a visual way to track my progress. 

I didn’t want another app or a complicated system. I just wanted something simple I could keep on my desk - something physical I could tap to track my habits without needing my phone, a subscription, or a bunch of features I’d never use.

So, I decided to make it myself.

Over six months, I taught myself how to code, design circuit boards, 3D print cases, and fix a whole bunch of mistakes along the way. I wasn’t an expert when I started - I just really wanted a tool that worked the way I needed it to.

Now, after a lot of trial and error, I’ve created something I’m proud of: a habit tracker that’s simple, satisfying, and built to help you stay consistent. I made it for myself, but if it helps someone else build better habits too - that’s even better.
